Our core belief  

We are driven by the fundamental belief that to meet our own needs today we must not compromise the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.  We believe in a future that includes healthier, better connected and accessible communities. We care about creating environments that improve the quality of life for all people. We strive to make a difference by helping to deliver the infrastructure that communities are built around. We want our efforts to benefit future generations and preserve the natural environment. 

We choose our clients carefully and we help those clients we choose to work with deliver environmentally sustainable infrastructure through our unique combination of project management and advisory, environment, and engagement and social impact services, which together help to make the environmental and social case for change and investment.   

Our aims  

To promote ecologically sustainable development and to sustainably manage natural resources in our day-to-day operations as well as in relation to the project work we deliver for our clients, including to identify opportunities for the efficient use of natural resources for not only us, but also for our clients.  

Objectives and outcomes 

  • we are committed to the protection of the environment, including prevention of pollution 

  • we will implement processes that allow for the monitoring and continual improvement (enhancement) of our environment and sustainability performance and our environmental management system (including its ongoing compliance with AS/NZS ISO:14001) 

  • we will comply with all relevant environmental legislation in the operation our business and support our clients with their compliance obligations within the context of our projects and our client’s needs 

  • in relation to environmental objectives, we will: 

  • adopt processes that help us avoid, reduce or control our emissions, discharges and wastes to reduce our adverse environmental impacts 

  • commit to near-term organisational greenhouse gas emission reduction targets that reflect our contribution to broader net-zero emissions targets before 2030 

  • share our tools, skills and knowledge to drive sustainability outcomes and ensure the sustainability of our supply chain and in our procurement process. 

  • support other small to medium enterprises in delivering goods and services, through the use of subcontractors to assist in delivery of specialty services as well as the use of local services providers. 

  • be active participants through industry associations/ bodies to support and promote the sharing of environment and sustainability knowledge, skills and technology with other small to medium enterprises 

Governance and commitment 

The Board and Directors are committed to fulfilling the objectives and outcomes of this policy and expect the same of all workers (employees and subcontractors) working on our behalf.
